How to Find Us

Although Aston Tirrold is a quiet and secluded village there are excellent transport connections to the road, rail and air systems.



By Train

The village is situated approximately four miles from Didcot Parkway main line station with frequent fast services to London Paddington, Reading, Swindon, Oxford and Bristol.

It is also a similar distance to Cholsey and Goring stations which provide local stopping services to the same destinations and to the intermediate stations.



By Car

The A34 trunk road from the South of England ports to the Midlands is easily reached within five miles.

The M4 motorway west to Bristol and South Wales can be reached in 20 minutes from the A34, and the M4 east into London and to Heathrow airport can be reached in a similar time through Pangbourne on the A329.

The M40 to Birmingham is approximately 30 minutes to the north via the A34.



Nearest Airport

London Heathrow is approximately 50 minutes by car or it can be reached via the RailAir link from Didcot Parkway through Reading.



Bus Links

Local buses connect the village to Didcot and Wallingford. The buses run six times a day to Didcot and once per week to Wallingford.
