Burglaries in the Astons
We are pleased to let you know that the series of six garage/outbuilding burglaries reported recently have ceased.
This doesn't mean we should be complacent, so if you haven't already done so, now is a good time to review your home security arrangements particulary in relation to your garage and garden shed.
Perpetrators of this type of criminal activity often use vans or small trucks to remove stolen items from the scene. If you see a vehicle parked in the village in suspicious circumstances, and it is safe to do so, take a note of the vehicle registration number and immediately report this to the police.
