Reporting Potholes in the Astons

Have you or anyone in your family been injured or had damaged caused to your cycles or vehicles through falling foul of one of our ever increasing potholes?


If you have been, the Parish Councils are asking that you provide us with information about your experience. We would like you to tell us the location of the offending pothole and the injury or damage that it caused. The information you give us will be used to support the Councils‘ bid to have these faults remedied as the responsibility of, and at the cost to, the county.

GARDEN SAFARI, 12 JUNE 2010

We are delighted to be able to report that the Garden Safari on Saturday June 12th, organised by the Garden Club and the PCC, raised over £1,000.


Very many thanks to all those who worked so hard – to those who opened their beautiful gardens, who helped with the teas, plant sales, children's painting activities, with putting on the Village History exhibition, the Astons Artists' exhibition and the evening barbecue for helpers and garden openers.

The lovely weather and the large numbers of villagers wandering around the gardens and exhibitions made it a very sociable and happy day – one which we hope to repeat in future years.
