POTHOLES IN THE ASTONS

Reporting Potholes in the Astons

Have you or anyone in your family been injured or had damaged caused to your cycles or vehicles through falling foul of one of our ever increasing potholes?

If you have been, the Parish Councils are asking that you provide us with information about your experience. We would like you to tell us the location of the offending pothole and the injury or damage that it caused. The information you give us will be used to support the Councils‘ bid to have these faults remedied as the responsibility of, and at the cost to, the county.

South Moreton Sands Road Closure

The Construction Crane coming through the Astons before Christmas

As most of you are aware there has been some huge construction work taking place over the Christmas and New Year break at the South Moreton bridge and Peter Le Conte was quick enough to capture the moment that a massive crane came through the Astons’ on route to the bridge, just before Christmas.

Construction work on the bridge started last October and is due for completion in April this year. Until this time please note that Sands Road will remain closed with diversions in place.
